Hello, my name is Emily. Welcome to my blog and thanks for taking the time to read my posts and a little more about me. My hope for this blog is that it is personal, transparent, and relatable. I hope that with each post the glory is given to God, Our Father. This blog originally started as an outlet for my poetry/psalms but it has became a place where I post random thoughts, prayers and fresh perspective of my failings as well as my victories. I only wish to share my faith with people in hopes that it will inspire them to go deeper in theirs or to give their hearts fully and completely to Jesus. I pray that we all learn and accept our Beloved identity in Christ, for He is our Beloved and we are His. (Song of Solomon 6:3).
Thank you again for visiting my page and I hope that you find the courage, in your own way, to share your faith journey and spread the love of Christ Jesus with others. If you want to know the meaning behind the title of my blog, click here. And for fun, I decided to include a few more tidbits about me:
I am the youngest of four.
I’m half Italian, therefore, food is the center of everything.
I’m terrified of rats and people who hoard rats.
I love chasing the sun and spotting the moon during daylight hours.
I’m southern but I dislike iced tea.
I know more about sports than a proper lady should but would be a horrible coach/manager according to my fantasy football record.
I tend to remember people by the sound of their laughter.
I bleed Garnet and Black… Go Gamecocks!
I’m a tad obsessed with my nieces and nephews. But in my defense, they are the cutest babies on the planet.
My mother is a self-proclaimed Mary Poppins.
Pizza is my love language.
I think Jesus is the bee’s knees.
I want to live in an endless summer.
I was raised on General Hospital. Yes, I like soap operas!
I watch survival shows, therefore, I can help you survive any sticky situation. But not really.
I tend to swear more than I should and when football season comes, well, let’s just say I’m working on it.
Most people call me Em.
