Worn

In the summer it’s the flirty sundresses I wear

And in the way I loosely curl my hair

In hopes to make an impression as we begin our hazy affair

During the fall I’ll wear your blue flannel shirts

I’ll tie them up in attempt to subvert

With shades bright enough to match my eyes and make your racing heart hurt

And in the cold winters I’ll steal your favorite hoodie

I’ll throw it on with not much time to get ready

Then my effortless ensemble takes back your glances with the envy of many

And when the springtime comes and the weather turns warm

I’ll wear flowers in my hair to show how your love adorns

Because it’s the little things like this where my affection is worn
